Choose Yourself

During intense times, mundane times, times where days linger and have little differentiation from the next it's vital to hold onto ourselves. When anxiety and stress are overwhelming let’s not abandon ourselves. Self- abandonment looks like people pleasing, when we say yes when deep inside we want to say no. Women especially take on the role of keeping others happy and oftentimes neglect themselves in the process. Let's take that back, and ask ourselves what we need in this time and know with certainty that we have the ability to provide that for ourselves.

Let’s choose to celebrate ourselves and our bodies and make choices that reflect what we want for our lives. Watching our thoughts is essential to creating what we want. We can choose more beauty and abundance in times of chaos. Remember that you get to choose, especially when you feel like you don’t have a choice.
You are stellar and powerful. You have survived 2020 which is a true wonder! We are not perfect humans, we are messy and complicated and we’re also learning, growing, transforming. Growth can feel uncomfortable and unsettling especially in the middle of it.
Keep choosing yourself over and over. You won’t go wrong so long as you stay true to you. Hang on to your dreams, your vision and let’s stay focused on what we want and ask for the help we need to get there.
